Description

You will design and implement embedded software systems, focusing on feature development, defect resolution, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded applications using C and C++.
• Diagnose and correct reported defects in fielded systems.
• Participate in systems engineering to ensure smooth software integration.
• Write testable code with a testing-first mentality, including unit, integration, and system simulation.
• Support fielded systems and perform continuous refactoring.

Required Skills

• 3-5+ years of professional experience designing embedded, real-time software systems.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded processors.
• Experience with large multithreaded applications running on an RTOS.
• Adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and design for re-use.
• Experience with distributed version control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with Agile software development concepts.
• Familiarity with device drivers, communication protocols (CAN, SPI, TCP, UDP), or ROS.
