Description

You will develop object-oriented C++ software for real-time embedded operating systems and networked instrumentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented software using C++ on real-time embedded operating systems.
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and documentation of software for networked instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with software automation, mechanical, electrical, and evaluation teams.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) principles to system development.
• Utilize electronic test and measurement systems for validation and debugging.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer in a technical field.
• Strong C++ background with expertise in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and multi-threading applications.
• Understanding of computing systems architecture: CPU, interrupts, Timers, MMU, GPIO, DMA, UARTs, and I/O devices.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronic test equipment.
• Experience with instruments, control systems, robotics, or electro-mechanical systems.
