Description

You will lead firmware design, implementation, and testing for new product development and sustaining products throughout their lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware design and implementation for new and existing products.
• Manage firmware deliverables across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing.
• Write production-ready code from scratch using C and C++.
• Develop and test firmware for multi-core processor architectures.
• Integrate Ethernet stacks within embedded environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software and embedded firmware development.
• Expertise in C and C++.
• 2+ years of experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience with multi-core processor architectures.
• Experience integrating Ethernet stacks in embedded environments.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools including Git, Tessy, Coverity, and Black Duck.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing operating systems within embedded environments.
• Knowledge of embedded system design for regulated, high-hazard applications (Industrial Life Safety, SIL2).
• Experience with FMAs and developing control techniques to mitigate risks.
