Description

You own quality leadership across the embedded software development lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product design and development, delivering test plans, defect assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Evaluate defects, determine root cause, and monitor KPIs specific to customer-facing embedded systems.
• Lead release readiness reviews, ensuring software meets quality and performance standards prior to release.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and SW Engineers, representing the customer perspective in quality issue management.
• Apply expertise in embedded systems, cloud solutions, and computer vision to guide software quality practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software engineering, focused on embedded/mobile systems.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems (Android, Linux, Windows Embedded).
• Experience with QA automation using Java and Python.
• Proficiency with project and quality management tools (Jira, Confluence, Power BI).
• Familiarity with wireless technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently and mitigate project risks with low supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software stability and performance testing.
• Understanding of customer use cases and project lifecycle.
