Description

You will design and own major autonomy software components across perception, localization, and planning layers. You will translate AI/ML prototypes into production-grade, real-time software integrated with LiDAR, Radar, and Camera sensors.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable and maintainable autonomy software systems for perception and planning.
• Integrate research prototypes into vehicle networks and sensor stacks for production deployment.
• Set coding standards and guide junior engineers through rigorous design and code reviews.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex issues in simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop, or field deployments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development in autonomy, robotics, or real-time systems.
• Expert-level C++ programming skills.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of Linux-based development environments.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS or ROS2.
• Hands-on experience with perception systems, sensor fusion, or motion planning algorithms.
