Description

You will develop and integrate machine embedded software features within an embedded environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine embedded software features using model-based development.
• Integrate software features from models and libraries to create software flash files.
• Integrate configuration and calibration data into the software stack.
• Develop test plans and perform software validation to identify and resolve defects.
• Conduct software reviews and troubleshoot issues on a systems bench when required.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in embedded C software development.
• 2+ years of experience with model-based development using Matlab/Simulink.
• Proficiency with Simulink for embedded software development.
• Working knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience using Git, debuggers, and compilers.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience developing embedded real-time software for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applications.
• Knowledge of FMEA processes and electronic system failure modes.
