Description

You will design, develop, and test low-layer software for electronic control hardware (ECU/ECM).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement low-layer software, including OS integration, I/O drivers, and boot processes.
• Manage the full software lifecycle through version control and configuration management.
• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and documentation of new software features.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using tools like oscilloscopes.
• Communicate technical updates to team members, suppliers, and customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of real-world experience with real-time embedded device drivers.
• Proficiency in ANSI C, Bash shell, and Python.
• Experience with Git version management.
• Familiarity with SPI/I2C peripheral interfacing and hardware diagnostics.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets.
• Experience designing embedded electronics controls, display, or telematics software.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes.

Preferred Skills

• BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
