Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software for embedded electronics controls and real-time devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and document new software features and processes for embedded systems.
• Perform requirements analysis and decomposition for complex control software.
• Manage the full software lifecycle using version control and configuration management.
• Evaluate new development tools or languages and maintain existing products.
• Communicate technical details to team members, customers, and suppliers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of real-world real-time embedded device driver experience.
• Proficiency in ANSI C and Python.
• Experience with RTOS and control software design patterns.
• Designing embedded electronics controls, including SPI/I2C peripheral interfacing and hardware diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with board initialization, non-volatile memory interfacing, and chip-level interfacing.
• Proficiency with Git version management.
• Significant experience using Jenkins build platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging using oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets.
• Experience working within Agile software development processes.

Preferred Skills

• Clearcase experience.
