Description

You will design, develop, integrate, and test software features for embedded electronic controls in large mining and construction trucks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine software features and reusable software libraries.
• Organize subsystem diagrams and integrate model-based features to generate flash files.
• Integrate configuration and calibration data into embedded systems.
• Develop test plans and perform software validation to identify and resolve defects.
• Support software releases by providing necessary documentation for field updates.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency with embedded development tools including ClearCase, Git, debuggers, and compilers.
• Experience performing unit testing for embedded control systems.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong technical communication skills for collaborating with diverse engineering groups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAN, J1939, or other data link communications.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and AutoSar in an embedded environment.
• Knowledge of FMEA processes and electronic system failure modes.
