• Working with system requirements and implementing software solutions
• Debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems
• Performing SIL/HIL testing
• Writing and maintaining test scripts
• Investigating and reproducing software defects
• Collaborating with architects and requirements owners in an Agile environment

Typical Day-to-Day Work

• Requirements management
• Embedded C++ development
• Test script creation
• Bug investigation and debugging
• Software-in-the-loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
• Working closely with software architects and project leads to deliver functionality that meets acceptance criteria

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Relevant internships can count toward experience requirements
