Description

Design and develop embedded software systems for Linux-based environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded applications and device drivers using C and C++.
• Implement Linux kernel modifications and manage device drivers.
• Build secure network stacks supporting Ethernet, TCP/IP, and WiFi protocols.
• Write unit tests and apply Test Driven Development practices.
• Utilize debugging tools like Lauterbach and GDB for system analysis.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Computer Science Engineering.
• 1+ year of professional experience with C and C++ programming.
• 1+ year of experience with Linux kernel and device driver development.
• Proficiency in embedded software design and architecture.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with GIT configuration management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RTOS development, specifically FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of CAN, J1939, and other data link protocols.
• Scripting experience with Python.
