Description

You will design, write, and debug software for embedded systems and support tools controlling mining haul truck functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and software to control vehicle functions and interfaces.
• Collaborate with mechanical and hydraulic engineering groups to define software requirements.
• Create technical documentation for software design, architecture, and detailed specifications.
• Participate in root cause analysis to resolve design issues and verify software stability.
• Review and develop software lifecycle processes within Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency with C++ and CoDeSys.
• Experience with MATLAB.
• Hands-on knowledge of RS232/485 and CAN drive protocols.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to verify software function.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree in engineering or related technical field.
