Description

You will develop embedded software for electronic control systems supporting diesel engine programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded device software from initial requirements through to commercial deployment.
• Integrate software libraries with application leads to build flash file application releases for engine controllers.
• Configure, integrate, build, and test embedded software within bench environments to verify requirements.
• Troubleshoot software or system defects using a debugger to support process partners.
• Analyze system resources to enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Solid programming experience in C or C++.
• Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and functional specification authoring.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues to resolve system defects.
• Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and software architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
