Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for medical devices, focusing on C and C++ code for microcontrollers and microprocessors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain C and C++ code for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
• Implement interrupt-driven designs and device drivers within Linux and RTOS environments.
• Optimize software at the System on a Chip (SoC) level.
• Debug existing codebases and apply standard engineering techniques to solve technical problems.
• Apply software cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors.
• Knowledge of embedded system design patterns and general design patterns.
• Experience working with medical devices and complying with MDD and MDR regulations.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 and IEC 81001-5-1 standards.
