Description

Design and evaluate software for Automated Driving Systems (ADS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in a simulated, closed-track, or on-road environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms using Python and C++ within agile processes.
• Architect feature integrations and develop data-driven proofs of concept through simulations.
• Evaluate ADS features in simulated, closed-track, and public-road environments.
• Analyze technology, infrastructure, and driving data to identify customer needs.
• Summarize technical findings into visualized reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years implementing and testing software for autonomous vehicles or robots.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience with real-time control solutions for robotics or automated mobile systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for development and simulations.
• Working knowledge of Linux, command line, and shell scripting on headless systems.
• Experience developing or evaluating ADS technologies: mapping, localization, path planning, or control.
• Experience with sensors, ECUs, and testing in vehicle or simulated environments (HILS, SILS).
• Master’s degree in computer engineering, robotics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to drive and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing quantitative performance comparisons against benchmark competitors.
