Description

Own embedded Linux and Java development for automotive systems, bridging the Linux layer and JVM.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded Linux solutions for automotive applications.
• Resolve interface issues between the Linux layer and the JVM.
• Optimize Java performance for constrained CPU and memory environments.
• Build and maintain Java microservices and JUnit tests.
• Manage development workflows using Agile practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Embedded Linux.
• Strong Java and J2EE development skills.
• Experience with JVM internals and optimization.
• Proficiency in Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, and Storm.
• Practical knowledge of JUnit for testing.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for process management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Android/iOS mobile application development.
• Knowledge of BT/Wi-Fi connectivity technologies.
