Description

You will design and implement software components across the entire system stack, from kernel to application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system-level software including kernel modules, synchronization primitives, resource allocators, memory management, security, and I/O systems.
• Develop efficient drivers and services for constrained environments to ensure high-bandwidth, low-latency data delivery.
• Lead hardware bring-up, peripheral driver development, silicon integration, and power/performance optimization.
• Debug complex, system-level issues spanning multiple layers from kernel to application.
• Analyze, design, develop, and debug firmware for diverse devices, including novel sensing and imaging systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience in industry settings, or a PhD with 4+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience in industry settings.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python with experience in large-scale code bases.
• Hands-on experience with peripherals: UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, and USB.
• Experience with RTOS and C++.
• Ability to work across disciplines to drive optimal solutions.
• Familiarity with FPGA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with novel sensing and imaging systems.
