Description

You will develop and debug embedded software and firmware across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, compile, and debug C/C++ bare-metal firmware and software applications targeting ARM CPUs and DSPs.
• Execute unit and end-to-end testing of software and hardware features using virtual, emulation, FPGA, and post-silicon board setups.
• Collaborate with System Validation, Software, Firmware, and Hardware teams to implement pre-silicon and post-silicon test plans.
• Build automation scripts and regression suites to streamline testing workflows.
• Work directly with customers to define and implement software solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing C/C++ based embedded software and firmware.
• Proficiency in C++ and C.
• Experience with low-level hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, and JTAG.
• Strong understanding of RTOS concepts such as threads, synchronization, and scheduling.
• Experience with build systems including CMake and Makefiles.
• Ability to use Python for automation and software toolkits.
• Hands-on experience with lab debug tools like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and meters.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or an equivalent field.
