Description

You will perform high-level and low-level verification and validation of embedded avionics software, ensuring compliance with DO-178B/C standards. You will debug defects, configure test rigs, and validate subsystem communication using ARINC 429 and CAN protocols.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities for safety-critical avionics software.
• Debug and resolve defects in integrated systems and simulator environments (e.g., EICAS, SDS).
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot test rigs and simulation environments.
• Validate data exchange and system behavior across subsystems using ARINC 429 and CAN.
• Document test procedures, results, and defect reports, tracking issues in JIRA.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in embedded systems with a strong focus on V&V/IV&V.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming (read, write, debug).
• Mandatory experience with DO-178B/C standards.
• Hands-on experience with ARINC 429 and CAN protocols.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as ZAPCross Debugger or Cosmic compiler.
• Experience with tools like BusTools, CANalyzer, or EICAS/CMS Simulators.
• Ability to develop and maintain Perl scripts for automation and test support.
• Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on smoke detection systems or similar avionics subsystems.
• Exposure to tool qualification processes in regulated environments.
