Description

You will develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine and electrification programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software features using C and Matlab/Simulink.
• Design, develop, and test library software based on system requirements.
• Collaborate with architects to merge software activities into the mainline library release.
• Troubleshoot software using a debugger to support process partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in embedded control software development.
• Proficiency in C programming and Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience with Git and Clearcase.
• Hands-on experience with Trace 32 Debugger, CANalyzer, and Cat ET Service Tool.
• Working knowledge of CAN/SAE J1939 protocols.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and diesel engine control/operation.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Background in automotive or heavy industry software development.
