Description

You will validate high-quality embedded software systems through rigorous testing and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases, procedures, and scripts derived from requirements and functional specifications.
• Create and manage test environments and equipment specifically for embedded systems.
• Execute hardware and software integration testing to identify and probe for defects.
• Document and manage software defects using issue and project tracking tools.
• Collaborate with team members or work independently to meet project validation milestones.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in embedded software systems testing.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols including Modbus, CAN, RS-232, and RS-485.
• Extensive knowledge of STLC processes and formal test methodologies.
• Proficiency with source control and code collaboration tools such as Git or SVN.
• Experience using issue tracking software like JIRA or TFS.
• Strong ability to develop test scripts and automate processes.
• Proven track record of validating high-quality products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in test automation using Python or LabVIEW (NI tools).
