Description

Design and execute test strategies for embedded systems and ECUs, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and cases for unit, integration, system, and real-time testing phases.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and C/C++.
• Configure and manage test environments including HIL, SIL, test benches, and embedded target systems.
• Validate hardware-software integration and communication protocols such as CAN, UDS, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis, and track defects using standard tracking tools.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in embedded software testing, ECU validation, or automotive testing.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in test automation frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Proficiency in C/C++ for developing test procedures and automated scripts.
• Hands-on experience with ECU testing on vehicles, test benches, and hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux, QNX, or Android operating systems.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, UDS over CAN, and Ethernet.
• Data analysis capabilities using NumPy, Pandas, or Matplotlib.
• Understanding of industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, or IEC 61508.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAN analysis tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.
