Description

You will own firmware testing, debugging, and low-level driver optimization for SoC-based embedded applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize low-level device drivers for peripherals and sensors.
• Conduct custom hardware bring-up using schematics and layout files.
• Debug firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware debuggers.
• Implement bootloaders, OTA update systems, and power management features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ development and testing.
• Proficiency in writing modular, portable code and understanding firmware architecture.
• Experience with RTOS concepts, including threads, synchronization, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of inter-processor communication (e.g., MCU to SoC).
• Familiarity with build systems such as CMake and Makefiles.
• Understanding of wireless protocols like BLE and Wi-Fi.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with power profiling tools and battery life optimization.
• Exposure to IMU and depth camera integration.
