Description

You will own firmware development, testing, and debugging for SoCs in embedded applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize low-level device drivers for peripherals and sensors.
• Execute custom hardware bring-up using schematics and layout files.
• Implement bootloaders, firmware OTA update systems, and power management protocols.
• Debug hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware debuggers.
• Manage inter-processor communication between MCUs and SoCs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development and testing.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ with modular, portable code.
• Strong understanding of RTOS concepts including threads, synchronization, and scheduling.
• Experience with CMake and Makefiles.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols such as BLE and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with power profiling tools and optimizing for battery life.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with firmware architecture and complex build systems.
