You will develop and maintain hardware design flows in a production environment.
Responsibilities
Develop new flow features leveraging new EDA tools and capabilities.
Evaluate tool quality and tune existing tools for optimal results in place and route flow.
Deploy flows to design teams and collaborate to maximize flow utilization.
Mentor junior engineers to build skills and increase team productivity.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 4 years of STA (Timing, Constraints) CAD experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
Strong understanding of digital circuits.
Expert knowledge of at least one EDA timing and constraints tool (Cadence Tempus, Synopsys PrimeTime).
Proficiency in UNIX and scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL).
Experience with flow automation.
Familiarity with version control software (e.g. Perforce, Git).
