Description

You will own low-level firmware, BIOS/UEFI, and Board Support Package (BSP) development for high-performance storage AI modules on heterogeneous hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate BSPs for x86 platforms, including board bring-up, validation, and debugging.
• Customize and maintain BIOS/UEFI to support platform requirements and provide minimal hardware initialization for Linux kernel boot.
• Port and configure Linux kernel modules, device trees, and GMSL3 drivers for new boards and evaluation hardware.
• Support integration of Linux-based operating systems on bare metal across ARM, AMD64, and specialized accelerators.
• Collaborate with hardware and PaaS teams to align firmware with platform needs and document initialization sequences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems and low-level programming.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems debugging.
• Experience with BSP development for x86 architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel boot flow and minimal hardware initialization.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up using JTAG, serial console, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with storage devices (eMMC, NVMe, SATA, SD) and root filesystem setup.
• Proficiency in configuring Linux kernel modules and utilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson family based platforms.
• Knowledge of secure boot, TPM, and firmware security practices.
• Exposure to continuous integration for firmware/embedded builds.
