Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software components for QNX RTOS and Embedded Linux. You will own system-level design, module decomposition, and interface definitions while building high-performance, multi-threaded applications. Your work involves deep debugging of kernel, drivers, IPC, and real-time behavior, as well as board bring-up and BSP customization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design, module decomposition, and interface definitions for embedded solutions.
• Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications using C and C++.
• Perform board bring-up, BSP customization, and OS configuration for QNX RTOS and Embedded Linux.
• Debug complex issues involving kernel, drivers, IPC, synchronization, and memory management.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with coding standards and safety processes.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in embedded design and development.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with QNX RTOS and Embedded Linux.
• Deep understanding of process scheduling, IPC mechanisms, and synchronization.
• Experience with memory management and real-time system behavior.
• Background in board bring-up and BSP customization.
• Ability to collaborate with hardware, QA, and system teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience ensuring compliance with safety and quality processes.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers.
