Description

You will design, develop, and debug standalone firmware, bootloaders, and low-power systems for resource-constrained embedded devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware and bootloaders for resource-constrained environments.
• Execute board bring-up and electrical system testing using electronic test equipment.
• Troubleshoot field issues related to Z-Wave and Wi-Fi technologies and perform deep analysis of low-power operations.
• Conduct systematic root cause analysis to resolve issues identified during code reviews and debugging.
• Translate client business use cases and technical requirements into elegant technical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware development (BareMetal and/or RTOS).
• Strong C or C++ programming capability and understanding of Assembly language.
• Experience with Z-Wave and Wi-Fi technical development, testing, and debugging.
• Proven exposure to low-power firmware design and on-field issue debugging.
• Solid understanding of computing architecture, including CPU, interrupts, Timers, MMU, GPIO, DMA, and UARTs.
• Proficiency with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and RS485.
• Ability to use electronic test equipment: DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers.
• Experience with software debugging tools such as JTAG and ICE.
• Knowledge of source code control (Git, Gerrit) and systems security.
• Ability to interpret electronic circuits and perform basic hands-on soldering/rework.
