Description

You will manage the full software and hardware stack for embedded devices. You will own the bootloader, kernel, and rootfs implementation, while managing electronics design including schematics, PCBAs, and physical layout.

Responsibilities

• Implement IoT messaging services between hardware, cloud, and mobile devices.
• Develop low-latency video streaming, sensor data processing, and device health monitoring.
• Optimize AI and vision algorithms and manage secure boot and key management.
• Write and tweak device drivers for embedded Linux environments.
• Utilize version control and scripting for automation and deployment.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience in Linux and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C programming with a strong understanding of operating systems.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Competency in version control using Git.
• Experience with REST API, MQTT, and AWS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded Linux rootfs management such as Yocto or Buildroot.
• Prior experience with IoT devices, PCB design, and board bring-up.
• Strong network programming fundamentals.
