Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software to handle telematics data transmission from vehicles to backend and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable, object-oriented C++ software and documentation.
• Develop detailed requirements, design documentation, and comprehensive test plans to verify system safety and reliability.
• Conduct testing across multiple platforms using both simulation and real-world use cases.
• Execute engineering calculations, investigations, and peer reviews following CMMI level 3 procedures.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and external suppliers to manage project priorities and technical communications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and multi-threaded application development.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Knowledge of MQTT, cellular technologies, and networking protocols.
• Competency with JavaScript, JSON, Python, and SQL databases.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to design for cost, performance, safety, and reliability.
• Willingness to travel off-site to support engineering projects.
