Description

You will design and oversee test engineering strategies for embedded software within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation solutions using C++ and Python to maximize test coverage.
• Deliver all software verification deliverables required for regulatory submissions.
• Identify product defects by analyzing system architecture, technical behaviors, and software requirements.
• Lead software release planning and coordinate verification activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with technical teams to influence software design.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software verification experience in a regulated industry.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python for software component testing.
• Experience implementing test automation on complex electromechanical devices.
• Knowledge of design controls and IEC-62304 standards.
• Familiarity with FDA medical product development guidance.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies to drive efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing automation frameworks, test tools, and developing mocks.
• Proficiency with test case management tools like Bitbucket, JIRA, or JAMA.
• Knowledge of top-down test planning and creating protocols for software requirements verification.
