Description

You will develop and oversee test automation strategies for embedded software within a regulated cardiac rhythm management environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation solutions using C++ and Python to maximize test coverage.
• Deliver software verification artifacts to support regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to influence software design and improve testability.
• Lead planning and coordination of software release activities regarding verification.
• Mentor junior test engineers and drive continuous improvement in test maintainability.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software verification experience in a regulated industry.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python for software component testing.
• Knowledge of design controls and regulatory guidance including IEC-62304 and FDA medical product development.
• Proven experience implementing test automation on complex electromechanical devices.
• Experience with software testing, component testing, and test planning.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing test cases using Bitbucket, JIRA, or JAMA.
• Ability to implement automation frameworks, test tools, and mocks.
• Expertise in top-down test planning and creating protocols for verifying software requirements.
