Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for embedded firmware and hardware components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and test cases for embedded systems.
• Create and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing on embedded devices.
• Develop test fixtures and hardware setups to validate product functionality.
• Collaborate with firmware developers to identify and resolve defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts and embedded Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation frameworks for embedded systems (pytest).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
