Description

Validate automotive infotainment system and application requirements through testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Validate system and application requirements via unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
• Produce test plans, test cases, test scripts, and detailed test reports.
• Set up and maintain test bench environments for various testing cycles.
• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using JIRA to facilitate resolution.
• Develop automation tools and provide status updates on defect tracking and testing progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automotive Infotainment environments.
• Proficiency in C and C++ and their associated build systems.
• Hands-on experience with Connected Car embedded devices and test bench setup.
• Strong understanding of the Connected Car domain, functions, and features.
• Experience with white box testing for embedded software applications.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and ASPICE processes.
• Experience designing and contributing to test automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Practical experience with CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• High proficiency in Python for automating daily tasks and testing activities.
• Ability to build and maintain automation tests across multiple environments.
• Experience working with offshore teams across various time zones.
