You will test and verify control algorithms for medical devices to ensure they meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop critical care tests for a Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy device within an Agile Scrum framework.
Execute software tests including scripted protocol execution, ad hoc testing, and exploratory testing on real-time embedded systems using Green Hills Integrity OS.
Create and update tests in MicroFocus ALM and conduct peer reviews.
Write test documentation, estimate work, and investigate high-priority field issues.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and systems engineers to deliver safe solutions.
Required Skills
3+ years of professional experience testing software or algorithms in a regulated industry.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and embedded code.
Proficiency with Simulink Real-Time, Simulink Test, and Requirements Toolbox.
Familiarity with C, C++, and MATLAB scripting.
Experience working within an Agile development environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
