Description

You will build and execute test plans across multiple products and platforms to identify and resolve defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end software and firmware test infrastructure for power management, boot loaders, scheduling, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.
• Automate testing for a wide variety of devices and interfaces using software and host-side tools.
• Review software, firmware, hardware, and IP architectures to ensure testability and evaluate integration risk.
• Debug issues across the hardware and software stack, including consumer electronics, mobile apps, and web.
• Support development phases from early architecture requirements and custom silicon definition to FPGA debug and chip bring-up.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software and test engineering with a focus on embedded systems.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with firmware, RTOS, and FPGA.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues using diagnostic equipment like oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART.
• Experience with unit, integration, system, and regression testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with low-level programming including UBOOT or bare-metal.
• Knowledge of peripherals such as SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, USB, or PCIe.
