Description

Maintain primary SCADA, Network, and Advanced Applications within the Energy Management System (EMS) and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SCADA electrical and network models to represent multiple operating companies.
• Manage ICCP tags, Object IDs, data parameters, and mapping for SCADA and Network applications.
• Handle ICCP permissions and access for transmission and generation companies regarding telemetry changes.
• Verify data accuracy and quality using staging and QA systems before production deployment.
• Develop and implement processes to improve quality control for SCADA and network modeling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in EMS, SCADA, ADMS, and Network Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA point mapping, upkeep, and ratings updates.
• Experience with real-time systems, real-time architectures, and databases.
• Proficiency in modeling and revising data through software applications.
• Strong background in display generation and drawing changes.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GE e-terra source.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies or SCRUM.
