Description

Lead end user computing service delivery, operations, and architecture for desktop and virtual desktop environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead service design, governance, and continuous improvement for desktop and laptop environments.
• Own onsite support operations including IMAC, hardware break/fix, deskside software support, and refresh/disposal.
• Architect client engineering and patching services covering image management, software distribution, application packaging, and release management.
• Manage warehouse and technology support services including asset imaging, shipping, data recovery, and device inventory.
• Ensure operational excellence for PC backup, virtual desktop engineering, patching, and antivirus compliance.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of experience in end user computing service delivery and operations.
• Expertise in desktop and laptop services for end user computing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) engineering, planning, and support.
• Strong background in patch management, endpoint configuration management, and software distribution.
• Proven track record in PC backup, restoration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing antivirus compliance and centralized administration.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with encryption management for end user devices (e.g., BitLocker, Symantec).
