Description

You will engineer, enhance, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft Intune environments for physical and virtual endpoints.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Azure Virtual Desktop environment by creating images, deploying VMs, and monitoring performance.
• Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions, including policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations.
• Provision Windows 10 and 11 devices using Intune Autopilot and manage Windows Update for Business policies.
• Design and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) within Active Directory to enforce security and configuration standards.
• Provide tier-three escalation support for the Desktop Operations team, performing root cause and preventative analysis.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.
• 5 years of experience as a System Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in MECM, Intune, and Endpoint Protection Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SCCM and Active Directory.
• Advanced experience with patch management, including BIOS, firmware, and application-based updates.
• Proven experience managing Windows 7/10, Active Directory structures, and Group Policy.
• Experience managing VDI environments, specifically Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Proficiency in developing and testing software packages using InstallShield or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server database administration.
