Description

Onsite contract role based in Palo Alto, CA. You will design, implement, and manage the organization’s device ecosystem, focusing on automating hardware and virtual desktop lifecycles for a zero-touch experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Jamf Pro for macOS/iOS and Microsoft Intune for Windows/Android environments.
• Administer Amazon WorkSpaces, including directory management, custom bundles, and image maintenance.
• Develop PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripts to automate endpoint tasks and integrate system APIs.
• Enforce security standards including FileVault/BitLocker encryption and EDR agent health monitoring.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for service desk escalations and manage zero-touch provisioning via ABM and Autopilot.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Endpoint Engineering or MDM-focused roles.
• Proven expertise managing macOS and iOS at scale via Jamf Pro.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager for Windows environments.
• Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and Bash.
• Experience administering Amazon WorkSpaces (AWS).
• Ability to write and debug Python scripts.
• Understanding of Okta or Azure AD (Entra ID) for device enrollment and SSO.
• Experience deploying and managing BYOD programs for iOS/Android devices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying enterprise AI tools such as Glean, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of AI agent productivity tools and secure credential management.
