Description

You will engineer, enhance, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft Intune environments for physical and virtual endpoints.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Azure Virtual Desktop environment, including image creation, VM deployment, and performance monitoring.
• Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations.
• Engineer Windows 10 and 11 provisioning processes using Intune Autopilot and Windows Update for Business.
• Develop automated solutions for software packaging, application patching, and workstation imaging.
• Provide tier-three escalation support for the Desktop Operations team, performing root cause and preventative analysis.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.
• 5 years of experience as a System Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in Microsoft Intune, MECM, and Endpoint Security Protection.
• Proven experience managing VDI environments, specifically Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory structures, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with patch management, including BIOS, firmware, and application-based updates.
• Experience developing and testing software packages using InstallShield or equivalent tools.
• Basic database administration experience, specifically with SQL Server.
