Description

Maintain the reliability of the Energy Management System (EMS) application and support real-time power system operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain power system modeling, state estimator, contingency analysis, and power flow analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EMS system issues using intermediate Linux OS commands.
• Configure and test custom EMS enhancements and support the testing and implementation of new releases.
• Lead technical evaluations of contractor software application proposals.
• Develop documentation for diverse user groups and present findings to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Strong understanding of power system modeling and real-time operations.
• Intermediate Linux experience, including command-line proficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience planning meetings and giving presentations to management.
• Ability to multitask and switch priorities as business warrants.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree.
