You resolve critical Linux Kernel and BSP issues for automotive and telematics customers globally.
Responsibilities
- Resolve critical issues within Linux Kernel and BSP areas for global customers.
- Drive technical closures by collaborating with subsystem and Linux Application Framework teams.
- Analyze complex Linux Kernel and driver code flows to identify root causes.
- Review device datasheets, schematics, and hardware reference manuals to support debugging.
- Provide regular technical updates and follow-ups on customer requirements.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Linux Kernel, driver development, or bootloader areas.
- Extensive knowledge of Core BSP, Bootloader, and core Linux Kernel subsystems.
- Hands-on experience with PBL, SBL, UEFI, and LK.
- Strong C programming skills at the kernel level.
- Deep understanding of Linux OS concepts and kernel internals.
- Proficiency in low-level system debugging and root cause analysis.
- Ability to navigate and understand complex driver codebases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Qualcomm chipset code, drivers, and tools.
- Understanding of ARM32/64 chipset architecture.
