Description

You will design, implement, and optimize real-time data pipelines and RESTful microservices on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build automated, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using GCP Big Data tools.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic, security, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and database operations.
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop custom Python, Scala, or Cloud Data Function solutions for stream and batch processing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in GCP Big Data tools including BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong programming skills in Java and SQL.
• Experience with Spring Boot for backend development and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of GCP infrastructure including Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
• Competency in using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging for production workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or Scala for custom data solutions.
• Familiarity with Cloud SQL.
