Description

Build Big Data and GCP Cloud-based real-time data pipelines and REST APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data solutions to support data-driven initiatives.
• Build automated, scalable, and reliable pipelines using custom Python, Scala, or Cloud Functions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, including business logic and security.
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure backend performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• Proficiency in GCP Big Data tools: BigQuery, Dataproc (Spark/Hadoop), Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong coding skills in Java and SQL.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cloud SQL.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with GCP SDKs and APIs for custom data solutions.
• Experience with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging for production workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization.
