Description

You will administer and support IBM MQ and middleware environments across Production, UAT, and Development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware and MQ infrastructure.
• Monitor queue managers, channels, queues, and middleware services.
• Troubleshoot MQ connectivity, message flow, and performance-related issues.
• Handle incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using shell scripting or Python.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in Middleware and IBM MQ administration.
• Strong understanding of MQ Series infrastructure and messaging systems.
• Experience in installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MQ environments.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS configuration and security management.
• Experience with shell scripting or Python for automation tasks.

Preferred Skills

• B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E., or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
