You will manage and maintain process control automation within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and support process control applications using DCS, HMI, SCADA, and PLC systems.
Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to translate process requirements into engineering designs.
Perform technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting for instrumentation and control systems.
Design and test automated process equipment and support new product introductions through configuration changes and engineering runs.
Support capital projects by managing the design, specification, configuration, and commissioning of complex process equipment.
Create detailed engineering specifications, documentation, SOPs, and operating standards.
Required Skills
Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
Knowledge of automation, SCADA, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming.
Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
Understanding of manufacturing IT networks and protocols including TCP/IP, Profibus, Ethernet, wireless, fieldbus, and WAGO IO.
Familiarity with batch control systems, software development life cycle methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP.
Strong presentation skills and experience with engineering documentation.
Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate degree with 6 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience.
