Description

You will manage and maintain process control automation within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support process control applications using DCS, HMI, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to translate process requirements into engineering designs.
• Perform technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting for instrumentation and control systems.
• Design and test automated process equipment and support new product introductions through configuration changes and engineering runs.
• Support capital projects by managing the design, specification, configuration, and commissioning of complex process equipment.
• Create detailed engineering specifications, documentation, SOPs, and operating standards.

Required Skills

• Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of automation, SCADA, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing IT networks and protocols including TCP/IP, Profibus, Ethernet, wireless, fieldbus, and WAGO IO.
• Familiarity with batch control systems, software development life cycle methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP.
• Strong presentation skills and experience with engineering documentation.
• Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate degree with 6 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience.
