Description

Manage and maintain process control automation within a manufacturing environment. You will translate process requirements into engineering designs and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support process control applications using DCS, HMI, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Perform technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting for instrumentation and control systems.
• Design and test automated process equipment, managing design, specification, configuration, and commissioning for capital projects.
• Create detailed engineering specifications, documentation, SOPs, and operating standards.
• Collaborate with scientific and operational teams to ensure accurate engineering designs.

Required Skills

• Experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing IT networks and protocols including TCP/IP, Profibus, Ethernet, wireless, fieldbus, and WAGO IO.
• Familiarity with batch control systems, software development life cycle methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP.
• Strong presentation skills and experience with engineering documentation.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, Associate degree with 6 years, or High school diploma/GED with 8 years.
