Description

You will manage quality control and testing for power and auxiliary converters in railway traction rolling stock.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks and testing on converters following R&D and engineering SOPs.
• Design Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) for IQCD, IPQC, and QC processes.
• Schedule and monitor routine testing and inspection calls.
• Analyze field failure issues to train the QC team and implement preventive actions.
• Drive cost-saving and Kaizen projects within the department.

Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience in quality control or testing.
• BE in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in reading product specifications and RM datasheets.
• Knowledge of railway product specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience with root cause analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
• Ability to implement quality tools including 8D, 5Why, Pareto analysis, Fishbone, and FMEA.
• Experience with routine testing and inspection.
• QAP design knowledge.
