Description

You will design and optimize ScienceLogic (SL1) monitoring solutions across servers, databases, network devices, applications, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ScienceLogic (SL1) monitoring solutions for servers, databases, network devices, applications, and cloud environments.
• Configure collectors, dynamic applications, power packs, and custom monitoring components to support scalable observability.
• Integrate the monitoring platform with ServiceNow, CMDB, and automation workflows for onboarding and alert enrichment.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues, including collection failures, performance bottlenecks, and integration gaps.
• Lead technical sessions, UAT reviews, and documentation for alert policies, event correlation, and threshold tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and implementing ScienceLogic (SL1) monitoring solutions.
• Expertise in ScienceLogic platform architecture and configuration.
• Proficiency with monitoring protocols including SNMP, WMI, SSH, and API.
• Experience designing large-scale monitoring implementations.
• Proven ability to integrate monitoring platforms with ServiceNow.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
